Book review: Factfulness, by Hans Rosling

Five stars

Factfulness, by Hans Rosling, is a remarkable book, possibly one of the most important books of modern times. Rosling presents 10 creditable approaches to looking at the world and the information we use to perceive it, so as to eliminate distortion, untruths, hyperbole, and fake news – in other words, how to see the truth and not the skewered spins used to impart fear and false thinking. This book should be read by school kids, parents, CEOs of multi-national firms, and leaders at all levels – in fact, everyone. It helps to restore perspective, to see what we are doing, collectively, to make a better world, and how to avoid the pitfalls of mis-information which makes us think otherwise. Read it – it will change how you see things.
